Leaders: Kendall Buck and Susan Peterman. Through special arrangement by resident Susan Peterman, we will be kayaking and hiking at beautiful Eastman Pond. Kayakers: Unload equipment at the boat launch ramp, then move vehicle to parking lot off Alpine Vista. Use boat wash if needed. Hikers: Park off Alpine Vista and walk along the shore. After kayaking and hiking, drive to main parking lot at South Cove Activity Center for windshield pass. Bring lunch and chair to eat near the beach/under the pavilion. Bring swimsuit and towel to swim. Arrive 15 minutes before departure time.
