Overview
COA’s overriding goal concerning ORFS is for participants to enjoy good exercise with a friendly and fun group in a safe and healthy environment. The following guidelines are intended to encourage responsible safety practices while attending the various ORFS activities, and members are expected to adhere to the protocols.
Activities Included
Hiking
Explore scenic trails throughout the Lake Sunapee region and beyond.
Walking
Gentle walks on well-maintained paths and nature preserves.
Biking
Bicycle rides on rail trails and scenic routes.
Kayaking
Paddle beautiful New Hampshire lakes and rivers.
Every Tuesday at 10:00am
Activities typically run from late morning through early afternoon.

Northern Rail Trail

Hike or bike the Northern Rail Trail from Potter Place in Andover. An easy walk or bike ride on the Northern Rail Trail to the Andover recreational trail (ballfield) off Lawrence Street. Bring chairs and your lunch, or visit The Flying Goose Pub in New London.
Directions: From New London take Route 11 east towards Andover for approximately 8 miles. Just past the Route 4 intersection turn right and proceed to the Park ‘n Ride.
