Kayak leaders: Kendall Buck and Olivia Henry. Hike leader: Ed Blanchard. Hikers meet at the Ranger Station to walk onto the dam, then drive to the trail-head by the ‘Lower Shelter’ for picnicking. Kayakers bear left at the fork following the ‘Beach’ sign, launching at the beach; option to paddle to Quechee Gorge rocks (3.3 miles) to swim and eat lunch — water shoes with treads recommended due to slippery rocks. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time.
